"Well, well, well look who we have here boys" Screech drawled loudly in his irritating Australian accent.

"It's Crowman and his pets!" the gulls screamed in unison as they flew closer to the dirigible on their great white wings.

"What did you call us!?" Irodia shrieked furiously, bulleting down from her position at the front of the murder of crow's to glower at the larger birds. "Stand down Irodia. Go back to your post" Crow ordered sternly, more than a little worried that the gulls might decide to tear her apart.

Irodia turned slightly to glower at Crow with beady, pit like eyes but seeing no warmth in her master's features she flew back to her murder in a huff. "Aye", Screech chuckled nastily. "So what brings you to this part of the big blue then mate?" the scruffy gull guardian asked, his small deep set eyes glittering with a dull, malicious curiosity. Crow grinned. "Hunting for young gulls and gulls eggs. I've heard their simply divine when fried in dog blood. Isn't that right Sergei?"

"Sure is" he answered with a mischievous grin of his own, clinging tightly to his straw fedora. "What!" Screech yelled furiously. He zoomed forward on mechanical wings until he and Crow were almost nose to nose. "Listen here mate. You've got no right to..."

"so where are you heading then? I heard that Leal has anointed himself as the King of the Guardians. Surely he hasn't invited you and your crew to stand before him?" Screech's boiling face immediately cooled off and a mocking grin appeared on his crude features. "Oh yeah we have been invited to stand in front of His Most Brave Lord and Saviour, the King of the Guardians. He sent me an invitation didn't he boys?"

"Yeah" the seagulls chorused.

"Really?" Crow asked with a raise of his eyebrows, "well I haven't had an invitation. Was there an invitation in the post this morning Sergei?"

"No I'm afraid not" Sergei said, looking at him with mock sympathy, clearly trying not to laugh. Huffing back a laugh of his own Crow looked back up at the smirking seagull Guardian. "Oh well there's a shame", he sighed mournfully, "well I don't suppose you can tell me who else was there, just to give me a general idea of which Guardians I need to be careful around in the future."

"'Course, but I want something of yours. One of your twisted humans."

"Well twisted is a little insulting to all my hard work, but of course, I'm sure that once I get back to Luxembourg we could come to some kind of agreement."

"No" Screech cackled, "I want Sergei."

'No. Oh Mother Nature no! I've got no choice though have I. Oh Sergei I'm so sorry.'

"Sure, you can have me once I'm dead and buried" Sergei replied hotly before Crow clicked his fingers and froze him on the spot.
